This statement made Dela Rosa shed to tears, saying afterwards that it was difficult to become the police chief.

Bato then told Zubiri that he cannot blame the people if they slowly losing their trust to the police after the controversy that they faced.

“I cannot blame the public. Maski ako nga, hindi ko na alam kung sino ang pagkakatiwalaan.” Dela Rosa told the committee.

He admitted that he's having a hard time in managing the Philippine National Police, but he’s really determined to reform the organization that he love so much.
