Alleged drug lord Kerwin Espinosa on Tuesday denied that he backtracked on earlier claims against Albuera Police chief Espinedo.

As per GMA News Online, Kerwin asked his lawyer to issue a statement on the members of media telling them he did not make any bactracking.

In his handwritten letter using the Visayan language, Espinosa said he is not changing any part of his statement on Espenido.

In a press briefing in Camp Crame last Monday, Philippine National Police Director General Ronald Dela Rosa said Kerwin backtracked on his accusations and cleared Espenido of the latter’s alleged involvement in the illegal drug trade.

Espinosa's lawyer, Lani Villarino clarified that there is nothing to retract or backtrack because Kerwin never linked Espenido to the illegal drug trade.
