Fromer Agri chief Alcala's drug suspect brother surrenders in Quezon
A brother of previous Farming secretary Proceso Alcala gave up to the cops with his son to clear their names from claims that they are allegely linked in the illegal drug trade.

Athel Alcala, 59 as well as his son Sajid, 36, surfaced at around 2 p.m. Sunday at the Lucena City Police Station, accompanied by his brother Quezon 2nd District Rep. Vicente Alcala and also nephew, City Mayor Roderick Alcala,

The Phiilippie Drug Enforcement Agency had actually identified Athel as the most wanted drug suspect in Lucena City.

Athel was out on bail in a pushing case during the arrest in 2008.
