Central Visayas 2nd most wanted drug lord surrenders to PNP chief
Central Visayas second most wanted drug lord promised to amend his ways, has surrendered to Philippine National Police Chief General Roland "Bato" Dela Rosa on Sunday night.

In a press conference, Philippine National Police Chief Ronald ‘Bato’ dela Rosa introduced Franz Sabalones as a drug lord of equal stature with drug kingpin Jeffrey "Jaguar" Diaz, the most wanted suspect of illegal drug trade in Central Visayas, who was killed during an encounter with the law enforcers last June.

“Siya yung ka-level ni Jaguar na yung namatay dun sa Cebu. Mataas si Jaguar sa kanya, siya yung number two,” Dela Rosa said.

Sabalones was presented to the media on Monday morning together with his brother San Fernando, Cebu Vice Mayor Frals Sabalones who was named by President Rodrigo Duterte as among the local officials linked to illegal drugs.

When asked why he surrendered, Franz Sabalones replied, “Gusto ko lang magbago.”

Dela Rosa warns Sabalones that he will be killed if he will not stop his illegal drugs operations.

"Magbago tayo dapat, ah," dela Rosa told the suspected drug lord, before turning to the media. “Pag hindi nagbago alam niya na.... Basta magbago siya.”
