Duterte set to release 'drug matrix' that shows De lima as highest exec linked to drugs

President Rodrigo Duterte said he will soon release a matrix showing the structure of the illegal drug trade at the New Bilibid Prison in Muntinlupa, with Senator Leila de Lima allegedly being the highest official linked to the illicit trade.

"I will show to you maybe this week the matrix, vina-validate ko lang, iyong matrix ng Muntinlupa. Nandoon si De Lima sa matrix so it would show her her role there," he told reporters.

President Duterte declined to give more details about the drug matrix, but claimed that De Lima is the highest official involved in the structure.

The President also mentioned that one of his friend who serves as a governor and an undersecretary appeared in the alleged organizational structure of the Muntinlupa-based drug trade.

"There is also a governor. I know he is my friend but I could not believe it. Eh nandiyan siya sa revelation. [There] is a governor and an undersecretary," Duterte said.

He did not name the governor but later alleged that the undersecretary he was referring to was Justice Undersecretary Francisco Baraan.

The President first disclosed in July the supposed matrix showing the drug links of mayor and law enforcers.
